    Each link is made up of 2 images ... the one that shows when it loads,
    and the one that shows when you hover over it. When the page loads,
    it loads the visible ones. The hover ones are not loaded into the user's
    browser cache until you mouse over them.

    To fix this, use a Javascript to "preload" those hovering images, or use
    CSS style sheet with a "display:none;" tag for each image. There are a
    couple different techniques you'll find using Google: preload images
