    How can i make header and navigation bar 100% length, and all other content fixed size. I usualy put everything in wrapper, but i heard that its not good to put header and nav bar outside wrapper? Thanks

    You can easily put your navigation and header outside of the main wrapper and specify 100% for the width.

    The remaining content can be placed in the main wrapper then specify the width for it.

    This is a common design I have seen a lot of and have used myself. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't or couldn't use this technique.

    i think somebody told me that site falls apart if do so. but than again maybe i didnt hear that,am not sure. i am new in web design.i will put header outside, now. THANKS for taking your time to answer my question.

    Get Firebug for Firefox and view some websites that have this layout you are looking for. Firebug will help you easily see the code and determine how they did it.

    A lot of blogs use the format you are looking for and they also extend the footer to be 100%

    My website uses this format so you can check it out if you wish.

    when you scale a page with elements at 100% it doesnt scale properly outside of a div. this is the problem that prompts the inside only style. to fix this just make it
    position: absolute; top:whatever; left: 0px; right: 0px; width: auto;

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }
