How does the photos, video, and schedule get updated?
Do they have to get you to do it every time, or do you have a way for them to edit content themselves (online)?

If it's just a handful of static pages, I wouldn't charge them very much.
The site won't stay current and updated if nobody maintains it.
I would expect that a band has many gigs and events ... constant schedule updates.

    how much is "not much"?:ermm:
and the price would just be for the website no updates
as you can see from the website I'm kinda new. i just know my way around photoshop.:classic:
so i have no idea on how much this is worth

Did you do all of the graphics yourself, or are they from some other source?
And how many photos and videos will you be installing?

Those things will change the costs ... as they involve much more time to do.

mostly stock images, it will have 1 gallery w/20 pix, 1 videos and 8 mp3 tracks.
all the content is already in the site i just need to add the code for the lightbox so it can work properly

    If ....

    1) You do your own graphic design
    2) Do PHP scripting for a dynamic site with CMS
    3) Have an admin panel for them to maintain their own site
    4) Install a bunch of other PHP/MySQL features

    then ...

You'll have to charge a lot more - not only for time, but for your expertise.
It sounds like you're just starting out, so charge accordingly.

I would say $200-$300 but next time fix your price before you start!!!!

Never start a project without a clear understanding of how it will pan out financially.

I remember a project a long, long time ago where it just kept rolling on and on because they didn't know what they wanted. I spent hours working on something that had no agreed price on it. We eventually ended up with a great design but fell out over the cost (which they never paid).

You must understand what the client expects and agree a price accordingly. Then start work!!

    Rich
