    I'm in a web design class and i was turning in my project i zipped a folder called snapshots inside the folder were the HTML and images folders, i submitted them and my teacher told me my links didn't work and my images didn't show up. I checked and she was right, but when I open the unzipped folder everything works fine but the zipped one does not. Some one help please?

    by the way, was this required by your class? although it is done by some and has been available for a while, its still not common practice. if you have to zip the content, the page should probably be split up anyway because once it is unzipped it is so data heavy it could crash browsers and is typically more scrolling then most users would like.

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }

    How do I send a header to the browser telling it, it was zipped? Yes I was required to zip it. It's very small simple site for my 10th grade class. HTML folder has 4 pages all with one image, 3 links and a paragraph on it, and the images folder had the four images for the HTML pages. could it be that i didnt optimize the images right because the links are also buttons i made on fireworks. thank you

    for the links i hope you used anchor text over a graphic rather then text in the image, this has to do with seo.

    a nice article i found
    http://betterexplained.com/articles/...p-compression/

    and i imagine if you are required to zip then you have touched down on php. if not i would ask your teacher why they are putting the cart before the horse.
