    Hi adrulz,

Personally I would use Adobe Illustrator and possibly Photoshop for some features. Illustrator is my favourite design and concept tool.

Adobe Illustrator is vector based and can be resized without pixelating, therefore clients can use the logo for banners, car decals, letter heads, business cards etc.

    Hope this helps.

i believe the previous posts say it all, illustrator and photoshop, however most people who are just creating the odd 1 or 2 logo's or are starting off freelancing cannot afford the price tag, your better off going gimp, i have used it and it is easy to use and learn

I think u should use Adobe Illustrator. This is a best software which I used for logo designing. You can use corel also. Don't go with any raster software like photoshop and fireworks.

I use Fireworks and Adobe Ilistrator but I'm not sure if that's what your after? Alot of people use Photoshop. I think Gimp is popular and it's free but I've not tried it.
