    The following is the error I am getting when I try to validate this code:
    Code:
    #navigation SPAN:hover {
    	background: RGBA(255,255,255,0.5);
    	}
    Value Error : background Too many values or values are not recognized : RGBA(255,255,255,0.5)
    RGBA(255,255,255,0.5)

    Is my code wrong, or is this a validator bug?

    I've always seen it with a lower case "rgba", but I'm not sure if that would make a difference. Which browser are you getting that error in?

    It depends on the browser, as usual. Maybe this site (css tricks) will provide an answer for you.
