I have a question that I am hoping you can help me with. I am doing a web site for a client and he says he would like an order form on the site, I am not really sure how to go about this, can you help. Just to give you an idea, he has a holiday villa in Turkey and would like customers to book the villa online. I know this means CGI, and server side scripting, but don't know how to go about it.

PHP would probably be the best option. What does his host offer?

The host I am using says it offers 'ready to run CGI scripts' does this mean all the code is ready for you to use?
Where can I find some useful resources for PHP, I don't mind teaching myself some new stuff if its not too difficult. Do I write it in a normal text editor or will I need some software? I am using a mac.

You can write it in a text editor. Take a look at this thread; http://www.webdesignforums.net/thread7737.html
