    Hey everyone...

Been having some trouble with this latest web page Iīve been working on and quite honestly canīt seem to get it to work. Well thatīs not entirely true, the site works fine in Firefox, but not in Safari or Chrome.
    The site address is: www.btypedesign.com/Tests
The problem I am referring to is at the bottom of the page. The white line or actually, white space that seems to show up on Chrome and Safari. The page is designed to look the way it shows up on Firefox (no space, compeltely flush)
Iīve sort of narrowed it down to the social media icons. They seem to be creating this bulge underneath them and the browser is taking that into account...

Seriously, any and ALL help greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    Cheers!

    Alessandro.

Make a safe copy of what you have now.

I would try changing the <ul> parts in the footer ... like this:
    PHP Code:
    <footer id="footer">
    <
    ul>
        <
    li> <strong>CONTACT INFO:</strong></li>

    <
    li> <a href="mailto:me@faheemmujahid.com">me<span>@</span>faheemmujahid.com</a></li>
            <
    liph305.878.2714</li>
            <
    li1111 SW 1st Ave Suite D</li>
            <
    li>MiamiFL 33130</li>
     </
    ul>
        <
    div id="social">
            <
    ul class="social" id="css3">
    <
    li class="facebook">
    <
    a href="http://www.facebook.com/"><strong>Facebook</strong></a>
    </
    li>
    <
    li class="twitter">
    <
    a href="http://twitter.com/"><strong>Twitter</strong></a>
    </
    li>

                <
    li class="youtube">
    <
    a href="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/marcofolio"><strong>YouTube</strong></a>
    </
    li>
    </
    ul>
        </
    div>

     </
    footer
It might put the social icons below your address. If it does that, try
floating the social class to the right, in the CSS style sheet file.

Thanks for the idea and the redo of the <ul>, mlseim. I tried it, but nothing. I believe what is happening is the the <div> containing the social icons is getting it's style from the #footer for some reason. I tried positioning it relative and absolute but it only makes it work on one browser, but not the other.
I am trying to remove the whole social icon <div> from the footer and tried placing it inside the large image and simple doing position=relative; bottom=0px and presto! And it works, but the damn (white space) where the icons go still appears on some browsers. It's as if the <div> doesn't want to budge from the bottom!

    Thanks for the idea, anyway.

    best!

Damn... I thought it would work. Totally forgot about that option! Still nothing...
It did minimize the "damage" on pretty much all the browsers except the damned Chrome! Chrome is the one giving me the most problems or at least, shows the white space the most.

    Thanks again, my man!
