I am revamping a site I did for a friend that I did during a course. I used spry the first time and I am using dreamweaver to update again. The site is http://www.iamrobsmith.com and I used spry for the previous gigs section. I am trying to use javascript and other methods as much as I can and was wondering if anyone knew a better method than spry. The site is very bad at present but the one I am making now is much better. I am teaching myself web design so I miss out on a lot of techniques. Thanks for your help.
Im pretty new to web design but I am learning fast. I will help if I can.

I'd like to give you an answer here John, but to to tell you if Spry is any good or not without criteria to measure against would be misleading. I did find an article that might clarify things about Spry, so you might be well served in reading it. Hope it helps.

IMHO, no. To be honest, I haven't used it myself. I'm sure it's really convenient and all, but I've seen more, "PLZ HELP!!!!! My Spry menu is jacked up!!!!1!!" threads than I can count. That tells me all I need to know about it.

Spry generated menu's in Dw can be a bit overwhelming due to all the CSS that goes into it. But considering all the work that goes into the different aspects of web design, it pales in comparison.
