    Hi,

    This is my first post, unfortunately I have got abit stuck on designing my latest website...

    I will try and explain best I can (see supporting image).

    I have created a DHTML menu, with drop down sub-links, however directly underneath the DHTML menu I have a flash object, my problem is when I test my page the menu is working as you can see from the image I am hovering over "Vanquish Performance" button but the drop down list is hiding behind the flash object, I have searched everything within Dreamweaver 4 to try and bring the DHTML menu to the front so the drop down is visable but I have to admit I have been defeated I cannot bring it to it overlaps the flash objext ... can you help??

    Thanks

    Ste

    If you can edit the CSS for the menu, add this to the menu CSS:

    z-index: 9999999;

    This is overkill. Complete overkill. But if you still can't see your menu behind the Flash, it's something else, in which case you'd have to upload it somewhere so we can see your code.

    It could be placing the div for the menu under the Flash div, but i would say setting the z-index on the menu to that, and then setting the z-index on the flash menu to 1, or even setting it on the <ul> so those show up over it.
