    Why? Because if it works in that browser it works in all i also design on a PC.

    And why do designers always create stupid cartoon character images of them selves like some dictator posting images of them selves all over the place. And one more thing, why would a client be interested in seeing an image of you?

    Not every site that works in IE (and you didn't specify which version,) will work the same way in all other browsers. I have one site that looks perfect in IE8, IE9, and all the other browsers, but breaks in IE7 for a reason I have yet to figure out.
    It doesn't matter if you design on a PC or a MAC, in Windows, OS-Whatever, or Linux. What matters is how the browsers read your code.

    Photos on a designer's website actually do fulfill a function. People like to see a picture of who they will be working with. It helps to make a personal connection that used to occur in face-to-face meetings and is not as easy to do over the Internet.
