    Hie guys

    how do a put borders around a cell, i dont mean the borders that you define for a table, those ones dont usually look nice, but i have seen some websites that have nice looking rounded edges borders around some areas like in the picture that i have attached...... any ideas?

    Most of what you are pointing out are images, they don't bother with CSS for that,

    Creating a border like that is usually very simple in most image editing programs. I use an only version of fireworks, just select the box shape tool, draw the box, there usually a setting for the corner radius settings, 0 = no rounding, just move the number up based on the rounding effect required. Most smaller boxes like those in the pics are just like a 3-4 radius corner. The larger the box, the more you can round it and it look nice.
