    Hi guys,

Quick question. I found a guy wanting to sell a script to me for aorund 10 dollers. See example:

    http://aiwanplastic.biz/

For the example he has given you can see the facebook like button but once you install the script you can change the opactity to 0%. Basically it will allow a user to have a hidden like button under his cursor once they enter your website and they could accidentally click making them like the page they are on or a direct fan page.

Is it wrong to use this type of script to get facebook fans? It seems a bit sleazy but yet I can imagine it being so effective when people just click for no reason which would spread your website around!

    Opinions?

A bit sleazy? Dude, that's extremely sleazy...not to mention a horrible user experience.

Here's something to consider...you've got that stupid thing under your cursor and you click a "Contact Us" link on the page you're on to try and contact someone you're interested in talking to. You end up Liking their Facebook page, which has no contact info (most business pages don't for some reason), instead. Are you going to be pissed? Yup. Are you going to deal with that company? Heck no.

That alone should tell you what you need to do.

Dont worry dude I wouldnt have purchased it, as it did seem really un-ethical, I just wanted some opinions on this type of stuff :P..

I will give credit where credits due, its pretty clever way of getting people to like your site..however as mentioned a cheeky way around it.
