    If you're using an image that has a repeating background, you can make your table span 100% in width. See www.turtletips.com for an example of this. Resize your browser window, and you'll notice that the whole page resizes it self.

    Another way to go is to make your site a fixed width. If you make it 780 pixels, you'll be guaranteed that everyone on 800x600 and above sees (almost) the same thing.
