    Anyone know any good articles on these and the specs?? Never done one before and I had a request from a client yesterday.

    A couple of ways to approach this.
    Because you didn't post this in the PHP section, I'm not sure of your approach.

    Google:
    send html email using php

    Google:
    send html email with email client

    change the word "send" to "create" for different results.

    Just know that when you send an HTML email, all images must reside online.
    You can send HTML, but the images won't be going with your email. Any
    images referenced that don't exist will have the box with the [X] in it.
