If you only have one product, all you have to do is design a regular website.

On the product page, just add a description, a price, and a "buy" button.

If you're using a 3rd party to do transactions, like Paypal, the button should link to the 3rd party's checkout.

If you're using a payment gateway, like Authorize.net, the "buy" button should link to a form you made where they can fill out their billing and shipping info, followed by credit card info. The credit card info should be setup with Authorize.net's API.

Best piece of advice..."don't use one page".

If you want to sell a piece of furniture online, you're going to have to tell people about it in as much detail as possible. What it is, where and how to use it, benefits of it (I'm assuming it's some one-of-a-kind piece of equipment, because I don't see the need to build a site for an ordinary couch).

After that, worry about the tech details.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
