Video animations

Hello, could someone please point out some good software / video maker for making short videos for youtube, use on websites etc. etc?

I have the scripts but would like to make video animations such as video here http://www.sands-trustee.com/consumer-proposals/

Those videos are likely made with After Effects. It's an expensive piece of software and not aware of a good cheap alternative. You might be able to use Blender, but you need to learn a lot, and nowhere as easy as After Effect if you are just doing simple 2D animations like what is showed in those videos you linked to.

I e seen similar done with MS POwerpoint and Windows Movie Maker

PowerPoint is part of the office suite, movie maker came pre-installed on windowsXP but will run on windows7 .... I think it can sti be found on the MS software site... If not its in the extra folder on winXP install disk. Have to run it in 32 bit mode if you're running win7 64 bit.

Once you're done create the movie in windows WMV format... I heard YouTube will accept WMV format, been a while side I put ny videos up, but last time, I had to convert ( tons of free converters out there ), to avi or something YouTube will accept.
