I have never created a website before and was thrown into creating one and I am having issues with the ap div positions. When I preview in browser in dreamweaver everything looks fine but when I uploaded the site all the ap div's moved to the left. I am sure I have coded something (s) wrong since I have never done this before but I can not figure this out. I have searched for help with this with no response. Hoping someone can help me.

Absolute positioning is probably the culprit - can you post a link to the site so we can see your code?

This is my problem with Dreamweaver, it doesn't display what it would actually looks like in real world web browsers. That's why I never used the preview.

We can't know the exact problem till you post the source code.

The site is not published at the moment due to the errors please forgive the "newbie code mess". I have copied the code from my home page that has the ap divs that are attached to every page on the site. This happened when I was trying to make sure the page centered for all resolutions. File attached.

File? We'd need both the HTML and the CSS...

Who would throw you into creating a website without any experience or knowledge?
Your employer? Why would they do that?

I see now that you were thrown to the wolves by Macko Construction, NC ? Why can't they hire a professional web design/developer. Not that you can't learn how, in fact you should learn how ... but that will take some time. Where did the code come from that you're showing us?

That code is a hot mess... did you write it or inherit it?

That is the problem. Was doing the best that I could with no experience. Actually everything worked ok until I tried to get it to center on all resolutions.
