    Is there way of creating an input form in html/php/js/whatever that is just like the form i am typing this message into?

    Is this proprietatory software or can anyone use it?

    From a FAQ I found on the internet:

    XenForo uses the TinyMCE rich text editor for creating and formatting content

    TinyMCE is free (google it).

    There are hundreds of "free" editors ... Most if not all, only require you to leave their copyright notice in place. All can be tied into a site, pretty easily, with just a couple of lines of JS.

    The one on this site is one of the more robust and feature rich. So if you don't need all that, you can probably find something for your needs.

    I recently discovered a website that uses Vanilla2 as their forum. I sort of like their post "text editor" because it seems really clean and simple. To me, this editor has too many features. I know you can turn-off features you don't need, but the script still consumes a lot of space.
