Uploaded site for first time, but now it came out text and it sitting underneath the backgound image

Everything looks correct in notepad plus plus. but when I uploaded the site for the first time to the server and host. it came out text, and is sitting beneath the background template I made. and is all on the left side.

the following two pages came out alright though.

Also, another reason to have a test server on a local machine... Much easier to test locally, than having to upload every time you make a change just to see if what you did works.

the site is www.northerncapeescorts.com. You can see that the first page is a mess. its just text underneath the background template. and the images arent there etc. but if you click on the menu on the left, the other 2 pages are alright. If you can also advise me on security for the site.

how do I get a test server, cause cant afford to buy one.

If you're using PHP and on a windows PC, you can download and install WAMP. If you're on Linux and running PHP, you can download and install LAMP.

If you're using ASP or static pages... On a windows PC ... You can just install IIS ( Internet information server ), from your windows install disk, or there are literally hundreds of free web server packages available.
