I have 36 different types of nail polish and i have deals ie. buy any 3 and save, buy and 5 and save, buy any 15 and save and so on. each time they meet the requirements of the next deal then the price per bottle gets cheaper.
Is it possible for the cart to be able to tell if a customer goes to the checkout with these deals of the same category to generate the price from a pre determined price list that i have filled in. I guess it would be similar to the shipping classes but for the checkout.

You're talking about a quantity discount. Yes, it's possible...you'd calculate your discount based on the category and quantity.
Now, if you're asking how to do it...that depends on your cart, and there are about a million different ways.
