What's your favorite tool to edit HTML? What's your favorite FTP client?
Do you have a favorite (free) image editor?

DW ( code view only ) or Notepad++
DW ( built in FTP) or filezilla
Fireworks ( DW suite ) or GIMP

Depending on what system I'm on ( sometimes mine, sometimes clients ), I use different tools

a windows server always has notepad on it, so you use what's available

Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express (it's a text editor) and if I need to write DLL code, Microsoft Visual Basic Express. Both are free.
    FileZilla
Photoshop CS3, although I'm more of a coder than a designer

    Thanks for all the replies.
I decided to start with Notepad+, FileZilla, and Gimp.
I have so much to brush up on and learn, but so far, it has been a lot of fun!
