Different Presentation in Chrome and Firefox

I am trying to design a website and while it functions perfectly on google chrome, there are a few issues when I try to use it on firefox. Firstly, the banner on the top of the page looks awful as it has expanded and shifted to the left. Also, the links to our pop up windows open up to a completely different version of the page that can be seen on chrome. In short, why are there differences between these browsers and how can I fix them?

There could be any number of reasons for this, although if you're using popup windows, chances are good that you're doing something you shouldn't be.

    What's the URL?

As TheGame has already said, there are literally thousands of reasons why this could be happening.

if you don't want to share the URL ... The first and probably most important thing you want to so is validate your code, both HTML and CSS .

since both browsers are designed and work generally the same with web standards, ( have you looked at the site usin IE ? ), both Firefox and chrome will display the same code almost identically if the code will validate.

use one of the many validators online to find out what ( if any issues you have with your code ), and make the recommended changes.
