I just want to know that how to start Professional Web Design work if I get this. Which elements need to start for the job? May I ask client to provide something like PSD file or images or anything else for this job?

In fact, I just want to get a start up guideline as well.

No more, I am waitng for your kind response.

    Thank you.

To get work on odesk , you will be well known about web designing . use latest tool , make your portifilo which show your quality work and submit into odesk profile..and also For designing work, you have to ask client about his requirements and details of what kind of design he requires and color combinations. If he needs a Logo for his website, then you can ask about the type of logo he requires and you can also ask for a sample of that logo. You have a PSD file in photoshop for the client.

...and how would one get a sample of the logo if that's the thing the client wants made?

Why not hit up a few local business and pretend to be a customer and inqire about the process you will have to go through to have your (fake) project completed?

Not cool, Henry. Really not cool. If you're going to waste another business' time like that just to hork their proposal, that's incredibly unethical.

There's also the part where you have to live up to that process if you get the work, and if a company's already got that in place, there are subtleties to it that don't get communicated to a new customer. For example, I never tell any new customer everything that I do. I don't tell them about what language(s) I'll use and what technologies I'll need and things like that. I just tell them I'm going to X for Y price, and that's it. So if someone came to me and said, "how would you do this project?" I'd say "I'd do this, this and this." But I wouldn't say how I'd do this, this and this.

What you also need to realize is that oDesk contractors get rated at the conclusion of their contracts, so if someone pulls a stunt like this and can't back it up, that's usually a 3 or lower rating...and that pretty much screws the contractor from landing future employment.
