    Building 100 websites

I am a Real Estate agent and will be building around 50 websites to target all cities in our region. Simply to target longtail keywords. What would be the most efficient and cheapest way to go about doing this? I obviously would like this to be as streamlined as possible. I do know HTML and CSS so I'll be doing all of the work myself. Just curious what you guys think about the logistics of getting it done.

Okay, I'm confused. First of all, you mention 100 websites and then you go to 50. Which is it, 100 or 50?

Second, you don't need to build an entire website to target "longtail" (I really hate that phrase) keywords, especially not the smaller ones...by smaller, I'm referring to any city with a population of less than 100,000. The thing with those cities and towns is that the competition is significantly lower, so if you create a page for each of those cities, show the homes for sale, some facts about the area, the schools that are nearby, restaurants, any social aspects such as sports stadiums, etc. I'm assuming you sell residential real estate...alter strategy as needed if you sell other types of real estate.

Notice how I said a page and not a site...if you structure your site in such a way as to allow for sections for all of the cities you're talking about and can get all the pages to fit nicely into one site, you'll have a lot more success than you will trying to promote several smaller sites.

I would recommend a Wordpress multi-site for this. It will make it much easier to administer each site.

I use a sledgehammer when I hang pictures at my house, too.

...and when I want to glue the head back on my daughter's toy skeleton, I go to a construction site and dunk the skeleton into some quick-drying cement!

    Here, i'll translate..

You don't need to use a giant monster "solution" like turdpress for such a small task, or any other cms for that matter.

Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks.
But of course, if you dig deeper, itís really how it works.
