Single page website and link other site to get traffic

I know this would be a silly question,
is it worth, possible or allowed to use a keyword domain to get traffic to another website buy linking ?

    Or redirecting ?

    It's possible.
You can do it if you want.
But it won't be worth it if you're doing what I think you're doing.

If you're planning on buying something like buy-cheap-red-widgets.com and linking it or 301ing it to redwidgets.com, it won't do you any good whatsoever. If you 301 it, then you won't be able to generate any useful links for it because there's no site and no useful content. If you don't, you won't be able to generate any useful links for it because it'll be a one-page website with a keyword-stuffed domain and next to no useful content.

This would be pretty pointless unless you managed to acquire a really high-end domain that got natural type-in traffic. Popular brands do this to make sure typo domains get pointed to the right place. Try typing in googl.com, for example.

Unless you anticipate a lot of typo traffic I wouldn't really bother with this technique, although to answer your question it is "possible" and "allowed" (in moderation, if using for links).
