Did you get FileZilla installed on your PC?

And did you create an FTP account with username and password?

Let me know if you did both of those.

You are choosing to use the Windows Server. That's fine. I can get you going with the FTP and some HTML stuff.

    Download FileZilla Client

When it runs, the left side of the screen is your PC folders. The right side will be your website folders once you connect.

To connect, click on the Site Manager and add your FTP account.
    host will be: Welcome
    username: blahblah@coleio.com
    password: whatever

    login type will be "normal".

When connected you go to your "public-html" directory.
On the left side, you find those HTML files you made and upload them into the "public-html" directory on the right.

Reboot your computer and try again. It should have created an icon on your desktop. And I'm assuming you installed "FileZilla Client" (not server).

i managed to get this going on my own, google ftw!!!

so now that godaddy and filezilla are connected whats the next step? just transferring the files? if so, then how? i thought it would be as simple as drag the file from the left to the remote site thing but when i open the remote site folder 4 other things come up
