You're paying \$133.90 a litre? What's that, a Pauline Marois stimulus package to get jobs for the out-of-work stripper moms?

Today it went to \$134.9 - creeping upwards. I don't know about Marois' stimulus package for stripper moms - maybe I've aged out of that group...

I've been hearing lately that she is going to revive the neverendum - life support for brain dead political moves can be expensive.

4. Am I missing something with the math on this? I mean, \$134.9CAD is roughly \$121USD. There are 3.8 liters in a gallon. So, a gallon of gas in Canada is almost \$400USD? That's over 100 times the price...

No, Ron - \$1.34 a litre X 3.8 litres in a gallon = \$5.09 Canadian dollars a US gallon - it's the metric system up here...

7. Not sure why it's double-posting - could be from the sticker-shock, I suppose?

8. Yeah, but the way you worded it Mare, you made it sound like \$134.90 a litre as opposed to 134.90 cents per litre. I know it was unintentional, but it sounds like you're saying the cost of gas is about the same as high-end champagne at a restaurant full of snooty waiters and high-powered executives.

9. See? That makes better sense. We Americans get a little cranky when people don't do things the way we do...
