    Free webdesign sites. Best one?

I am a noob at all this. I know there are free web design websites that you can use to create your own site. I was wondering which one would be best to use? Any recommendations from anyone? Also I was wondering about the possible existence of a free search engine optimization course online or something similar? I looked on coursera they dont have one. Any way that's about it thanks.

To answer your second question first, there is no single "course" online that will teach you everything you need to know. You have to learn some of it on your own. That's just the nature of the beast. But if you want to get started, try this:

    http://static.googleusercontent.com/...rter-guide.pdf

Straight from the horse's mouth, and better than the Moz.coms or the SearchEngineLand.coms or any other other free garbage out there.

As far as web design websites that you can use to create your own site goes, that depends on whether or not you intend to learn how to code in HTML (the correct answer is "yes, I do.") There are a few free and good text editors out there with things such as syntax highlighting (e.g. Notepad++, Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express) so that you can learn to code and somewhat minimize mistakes along the way.
