    a friend died

    hi guys, a friend of mine died a few days ago. i was wondering how i would go about setting up a temporary site in his memory where people can come on and post and share their stories of him. i only know the basics of html and css. can anyone help with this? i mean i have no idea how to make something where anyone can post a message to a site and how to get it hosted for free

    it wold be pretty good if people were able to post their pics of him aswell.

    is this easily acconplished?

    is it really that hard to do? 2 pages one for comments one for pics?

    Not if you're an experienced programmer. If you're not, you might want to look at something like Gone Too Soon . Supposedly you can create a free online obituary, although I haven't tried it yet.

    Sucks that you're going through that, though. Three people my wife and I knew (one relative, two friends) died January 3rd within 4 hours of each other. None of them knew each other, and they all died of natural causes. Horrible coincidence.

    ah man thats rough real sorry for your loss!! i had looked at sites like that but would much prefer a site of his own. ahh well!!!

    Joomla's a CMS you'd install along with that plugin on whatever domain you want. It wouldn't be hard, but considering skill level and timeframe, I'm trying to suggest things you could realistically make happen,

    You can simply just Create a blog and share the story or images.
