    need some help please

    heresd the css code

    now the baCKGROUND IS WORKING ON MEPC but

    body {
    background-image: url(file:///C|/Users/Lee/Desktop/evans%20designs/images/pic1.jpg)

    when i cange this to just
    imagesbody {
    background-image: url(/pic1.jpg)

    the backgrounfd aint working whn i put onto site

    no i can c its in me c lee desktop but its not working changing please can someone hlp me thank you..

    This is why friends don't let friends use Dr*amw*av*r.

    The problem is that your background URL points to an absolute path in your file structure. It needs to point to a relative path on your site. I'm assuming your stylesheet is in the root folder of the site, so adjust accordingly:

    It will work if the images folder is on the same level as your CSS. So if your CSS is in the same spot as say index.htm or index.html, then images should work.

    If not, you'll have to adjust accordingly, as I said. It depends on the site and how it's structured. If you want, link to the site and it might come to someone.

    Take that line out. it's still referencing the file on your desktop. Or edit it...take your pick.
