Exclamation Removing mobile version adaptation from my website

I'm not sure where to start. I was previously using a layout which only needed 1 style.css file. The layout I'm currently using and have customized almost entirely to my liking and industry, uses 6. I want to completely remove the ability of adapting to a mobile browser. I would like the full site to be the layout that comes up on every device regardless of it's screen size.

    Can anyone help?

That is going to depend on a lot of things. Post a link to the site.

This really isn't going to answer your question, but I'm curious as to what all the cars on that one picture has to do with trucking?

Since we only deal with cars, and most of our clients are car enthusiasts, it's a better fit for us. The problem is that mobile site that comes up.

Try renaming skel.min.js and skel-panels.min.js and see if that does what you want.

Nope. I was guessing there would be a line in the source code which would initiate the detection of the device but I can't find a single clue in there.

I can only view in mobile at the moment since my internet is down, so i cant take a look at the code. Wish i could help.

I understand ur clients are car enthusiast but that image just bugs me. As a designer im just always critiquing things i guess. Anyway you didnt ask us to review ur site so i wont go on any further.

It sucks your internet is down. A "designer" without internet is like a car without a motor; useless.

Sorry our site "bugs" you...but it should bug you more that you have nothing to say on here aside from your own personal and biased opinions.

Designer or not, you've wasted space

Graciously sent from my PC in my home office all the while thriving on fast and solid internet connectivity

PS. (iPhone...really bro...there's nothing techy about you as of yet...)

Now please, guide yourself out of this thread or reply with something useful regarding the removal of the mobile adaption of a website - which was the point of this thread. Like you said, I didn't request a review...

Actually, there's a lot you can do offline.

If you have no internet, you can develop using raw html and previewing in a browser.

Or you can run a local server using something like XAMP, which is how I start almost every site.

Or if you're stuck with no internet and no computer, if you have a pen and paper, you can sketch out wireframes or rough mockups for your design.

Back to the original question, I don't see a link to your site, but the mobile part usually comes from media queries. So I would start by deleting those. And then reverting it back to a fixed width site by finding the content container and doing something like

    Code:
    .container { width: 960px; margin: 0 auto }
