Question A little help regarding a Buy Now function...

Hi. I am designing a website but I have no knowledge of JavaScript and PHP. So it's going to be a group of static HTML pages. But here's the problem, the various products on sale have each a Buy Now button. All these buttons lead to a single page, /buynow.html. Here's what I want:

The Buy Now page has a dropdown list, where all five or six products are listed. Whenever someone clicks on Product A from the homepage, I want them to land on Buy Now page WITH Product A already selected in the dropdown list.

Otherwise, separate buttons don't make any sense.

Kindly advice on how to do this. I think some PHP code will take care of this.
