Question Creating Buttons For JQuery Slider

Hello, I am a beginner to coding, I just recently started using Dreamweaver CC to code a JQuery slider and then pasted the code into Expression Web.

    I'm using this tutorial:
It's been incredibly helpful, however, I'm stuck on the buttons. He uses arrows for his slider navigation, however I need to place buttons on the bottom of the slider instead, like so:

This is what my code looks like:

    dreamSlider2.jpg
    dreamSlider3.jpg

    What my slider looks like:

My slider has 6 images, so I'd like to put six buttons on the bottom. However, I'm unclear on how to code it.

    Thanks for any help,
    SAsunset
