    Coloured section on background?

    Hi Guys,

I'm not even sure where to post this question.

I am using Weebly which allows access to the CSS code. But I can't figure out how to achieve a very simple block of colour on background.

Let me explain. See this mock up page test - Home, the background is grey (apart from the footer).

However, I want white space between the top grey and the footer, like in the image below. Adding a strip of colour (or white) breaks the page up nicely, but if I simply add a coloured text box, it won't stretch the full width of the page.

Not sure how weebly works but if you can edit HTML as well all you would do is create a div in between the 2 grey sections you want to separate by the white and then edit its css so that it has a white background.
