Question Which type of website should I make?

Hey everybody, I am a new member of this forum, and also an IB diploma student. I am here because for my Internert In a Global Society project, I need to create a website for a client, which is meant to be a real client, with a real situation.
My client is a CAS ( Creativity, Action, Service) coordinator. Students from the IB diploma need to enter like a diary, where they talk weekly about the activities they took, how it made them learn, and how they could improve next time etc.. My client needs me to create a website so that students can directly send their entries to the site, so that he can manage all of them online. I need the website to be able to arrange a file for each member, so that their entries are updated online every time they send a new one.
However, I do not know what to do.. Should I make a website, or a forum. I am not asking for you to make the website Just a little help on the type of website/ forum I should make to be able to achieve this.
    Regards,

Since it's just a log of events and it's just for a school project, I'd recommend www.blogspot.com. You can set it up for free, post your logs pretty easily to it, and you won't have to maintain very much other than maybe the occasional comment.

I wouldn't recommend this for a professional project, but a student project is suitable for it.
