    Wordpress

    Hi,
I want to build up a website that my friend can always modify it (change the images and text) without my intervention,
Do someone can tell me the notion, how to build up this interface that my friend uses it to modify the website ?
    thank you

You answered it with your thread title "WordPress".

WordPress is free and can be used on your own webhost account, or remotely hosted by wordpress itself.

Create two logins, one for you and one for your friend ... so you can both work on it together. Lots of tutorials online and lots of wordpress support in hundreds of forums.

I was wondering how to simply restore my customized theme for my website. Any ideas as an easy way how?

    Scott,
Do you mean a wordpress theme?
You can have as many themes in the theme directory as you want.
Using the dashboard "appearance" link, you can select which theme to display.
The content is unchanged, just the theme changes.

Your main login is the "admin" login where you have full admin access.

You can login and then add other "users". You can give them full access, or only access to create/edit posts, or upload media, etc. You may want another person to have full admin access in case something were to happen to you, or allow a few people to use the same login.

Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks.
But of course, if you dig deeper, itís really how it works.
