    Site Not Showing In Search

I created a Wordpress site for a chiropractor client. When I google her name, the site doesn't appear in any of the results.

I submitted it to google, yahoo and bing, then I realized it was not set to be indexed. I added Yoast SEO, fixed it so it could be indexed. That was several days ago, but still when I search, her site does not appear.

Should I keep waiting, resubmit, or ???

I'm not the SEO expert ( I'll bow to Games knowledge), but it takes time for the actual indexing to take place. Also might want to check your robots file.

Damn RIGHT, bow to my knowledge. You know what? Just bow to me. I'm awesome!

Seriously, Brian said the one thing I would have said without seeing the site itself. Check both your robots.txt file and any robots tags to see that things aren't disallowed that shouldn't be. Go into Google Webmaster Tools and make sure there are no obvious crawling errors. Get your page load times down (this can actually have a huge impact on indexing as lower load times usually = faster crawling.)

Submitting a site won't get it indexed quickly as a general rule of thumb. The best way is to try and generate as much interest in your site as possible through "backlinks", but the kind that are earned, not given. Yoast from what I've seen is pure hype and doesn't do much; it's just recognized as "the brand in W*rdPr*ss SEO."

If that doesn't work, post the link so we can see it.

    Hello Pranaman,
Did you check wordpress "Search Engine Visibility" settings? Go to Settings > Reading > Search Engine Visibility
The line "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" has to be unchecked .
Hope it will work for you? or could you show me the URL of the website so that i can check for any other issues.

    Thanks

It can be possible that your site is new so search engines will take time to index it. If you want to rank it well & index it fast then you should do its promotions & off-page activities.

Off page activities will surely help in getting your website indexed in search engine. Submit your website in search engines as well and pinging your website will also help in indexing.
