    A little help.

Hello, i need to set up a website for a small company i am starting up and i would just like a few opinions on how i should go about some tasks i want to be included with the domain.

First of all i need to be able to have a meeting scheduler something all the people involved in can see when they are on the site so we don't double book our selves and so we can see what each of us has been up to and what our work load for the coming week / month is going to be like.

Second, a way to be able to share different information that is public to everyone on the site like financial reports, meeting info , etc, and other information that we want everyone to see instead of sending a email out to everyone and them have to open the email so the information is just there when they click on the corresponding link.

And finally just some suggestions on the best email client using or domain name

Are you using a CMS to create your site? If you are using something like Wordpress then a few plugins should be able to create an online calender, handle emails and of course only allow certain users to view private pages if they are logged in.

So, you could have all of your financial reports on a protected page for logged in users.

You'll get a lot of opinions.

    We all have different preferences.

How much scripting/programming experience do you have?

No experience in coding really; I have done some networking work and when i was younger i helped set up and manager forums websites and very basic web portals. This isn't going to be a public site so it doesn't have to look fancy just be functional and clean. I know there is a ton of options that's why i'm just asking for some suggestions

I would say that you use WordPress and purchase this plugin:
WordPress - EventOn - WordPress Event Calendar Plugin | CodeCanyon

That would give you a working site in less than a day.

You can also purchase a premium wordpress theme ... so you get a really nice looking site that you can customize easily.

Total investment? Less than $100 (plus the annual webhost account costs).
