How do I add a live chat to my website using live chat widgets such as chatango?

I want the user to be able to log in to my website and be able to chat with another registered user of my website. It would also be good if they can have a friend list. (Something like a Facebook chat messenger)

How do I do this with live chat widgets?
I know that I have to paste the embed code into my page but I will only get a chat window. I don't know how to allow the user to connect to other users using that chat window.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Here is free chat application.

    https://mylivechat.com/login.aspx

You can embed the widget code in index.html in <header> and you can download the client on your desktop so for instance when someone visits your website and requests for chat you will get a pop-up on your desktop live-chat application.

    Hope this helps. :-)

This is the code which you have to add in your code.

Just out of interest could you send a link to your website?

Many chat widgets allow you to log into their website where you can customise your chat widget, initiate the chats, set up chat notifications etc.
https://www.tawk.to/ has been one of the better chat clients I have used, to date.
