    Question Bookshelf site design suggestions

    Hi Everyone:
I am trying to design a bookshelf-based websites where "books" will be put on "shelves" based on category.
Each "shelf" needs the ability to be "swiped" or "scrolled" to the right and left when there are more books in a category than can be displayed on the shelf at one time.

Can someone explain how this might be done or offer any tutorials or resources that may explain how this can be accomplished?

Books displayed like a graphic (photo) of the book cover?

You'll need at least a database (MySQLi) to store all of your books.
Then use PHP to do the pages.

It seems like there would aready be a ready-made program for this?
Books will need to be entered, either by hand, or by using the ISBN.
So you'll have a user section, and an admin section.
