    Web Design in Print Portfolio

Hello! I'm new to webdesignforums.net and was hoping to get some good feedback about how to present web design work in a print portfolio. My default approach to doing this is to simply get a screenshot of the web design and mount it as is to a matte board. Does anyone else have any other creative ideas of how to display this kind of work in a matted format?

Not really. They're two different mediums.

So you're going to put a screen shot of a web design and put it on a board or a wall or something. Okay. What screen shot? What resolution? Typical desktop (i.e. 1920 x 1080)? Laptop (1366 x 768)? Tablet portrait? Tablet landscape? Cell phone portrait? Cell phone landscape? You'll have to repeat this several times (once for each website).

You'll also have the issue of how you print it. Landscape? Portrait? What size paper do you use?

As I said, they're two different mediums and there are too many variables involved to do this properly. If you're going to set up an offline display, your ideal would be to set up some form of a kiosk with a computer and an app (or a simple website) and the ability to view the other sites in the portfolio.

Thank you for the feedback! I had heard the same from others in my local community today. I plan on using a tablet and have either interactive pdf files or a wifi connection to actual domains to show the web work.
