Thought process for deciding button layout?

Hi, whats your thought process for deciding button layout? (Does one setting fit better for different things and purposes?)

    • Border-radius
    • Flat, Gradient, 3D
    • Animation or not

No animations, and flat is best

That is my opinion. That's the problem, you'll get 50 opinions.

You should decide by listening to what your client wishes, not us.

ML hit the nail on the head.

Design is all about what your taget market is going to go for it is not for yourself, i have made sites for clients with buttons i hated but i knew in their niche it would work.

But in general , less is always better imo
