    How to save animated PNG's?

I need to download an animated image off a website, but unlike a GIF file, when I go to save it, it just gives me the still PNG's. Does anyone know how I can save the animated form of the file?

PNG are ‘pictures’ not animations. Save as *.APNG
Also I am unsure about browser support for apng files. You may need to check this up. Pretty sure Firefox and Safari support it, but not sure of others.

Thanks for the reply. I tired renaming the saved file with extension ".apng" per your advice, but it still only shows the still image. Opening the resulting file in both Edge and Chrome results in a still image as well. I even tried opening in XnView.
