    Roku like homepage.

Ok, so i want to make a website that looks like the roku express screen. Here is a screen shot or two of what i mean.

Im not gonna copy exactly cuz copy right but general idea. I was thinking of using wix.com since it is free. Or im open to any other software thats free that will allow me to make what i want.

I can't say for absolute sure, but I very highly doubt you'll be able to do that even reasonably well on Wix.

Really, though, since all of the blocks are the same size, floating them left and making them 1/3rd the width of the area on the right is really easy enough.

Thanks for the reply. So i guess a basic table will do? How do you get the blocks to flicker or animate

A table might work. You might not get the flexibility you need. I would create a div to go around them all and set that to the overall width you're wanting, then set each block to 1/3rd the width of that and float them left.

As far as animations or "flickering", I'm not sure what you mean, but most of that kinda stuff can be done with CSS transitions.
