Question what domain extension should i chose for full whois privacy?

what domain extension should i chose for full whois privacy? i wasted money i can't be refunded for on a domain. Amazingly i have spent days asking a few hosting providers the same simple question and they point blank refuse to answer and instead hit me with masses of useless copy/paste non relevant information. :banghead: I just want to know what domain extension i 'can' purchase that is compatible for ALL info (including my name) to be hidden from whois. Can you guys help? ta

My webhost keeps asking me to try their "whois" privacy feature. It costs extra money. So they are able to do it. Why can't your webhost?

Or, perhaps your domain name is hosted by a registrar different than your webhost?

There's serious talk about getting rid of WHOIS information (not kidding at all) because of the GDPR law going in in Europe. It's nuts!
