    New website design

I'm in the process of designing a new website for a dental clinic in Burlington. Here is the website https://www.pearldentalburlington.com/.What do you think about the responsive aspect of the website?
Will implementing AMP improve the speed?

Ya of course you should tried it. According to google algorithm it's too good to implementation of AMP in the website. Nevertheless, Your website is too strong with better speed.

I found it to be slow loading and with 9 plug-ins that is understandable. There also seem to be a dozen ads on the home page - why, why, why?

You've got some heavy resource plugins on the site. Looks like the site is also hosted with GoDaddy,. They have a reputation to overload oversell their servers which makes sites have slow load times.

I also think that you need to transfer the site to another hosting.

Sure, the responsive design is good. But the overall page speed is turtle-slow. Consider moving to a different host or using some optimization plugins like LiteSpeed.

I have check it your site through speed test, and the speed result its around 6 second. And when I try to check it your site features, I think for speed optimise, you should be install CDN features inside, because CDN features its can be impact for your speed.
