    Change PHP Version for Wordpress

Some of you may find on your WP dashboard that your PHP version needs updating. If you don't update the version it could cause some plugins to stop working and some security issues.

You may try to install a new plugin and it'll tell you it's not compatible with your version of php

WP is now using php version 5.6.40.

How to change my php version to the 5.6.40 is a simple fix.

    Login to your cPanel

    Scroll down to Software

    Click on Select PHP Version

It will then take you to another page. At the top of the page it should say Current PHP Version.

Click on that and change it to the 5.6 and Save

Done and your site should be updated to the new version.
