Which web design do you think best for this website

Hello, am working my website and i want to redesign it and I don't know which design is better so please can you help me decide which one should i go with and am also working on the backend of the website I want to change from using the old spaghetti PHP to Laravel but i said i should finish up the design before i start doing backend now the design is stoping me please guys help.

well on the second design I didn't resize the images yet it's just testing images but when I decided if am gonna use the second when am well work on images size and web page speed it's easy to do

Oh I forgot thanks for the SEO tool it's more than great

The second design is definitely better but still looks a bit old school to me. Any way you could make it look more modern?
