Question Which OTS software can be used to design this kind of online course?

Hi there, I'm very new and a bit of a noob on the whole web design front. I'm currently easing into it by using Wix. I'm unsure if this question is appropriate here because I'm more after an OTS solution as I have no programming skills. Apologies if this is inappropriate. If it is, I'd love to know where a better place to post this would be.

I'm working on a project where my end vision is to have a website that will have a resource in which users can go through a non-graded "course" to help them explore their career options. It's non-graded because the idea is for them to explore their own values, skills, thoughts and feelings towards certain pathways. They'd be able to progress at their own pace and come back to their saved progress.

In other words, it's an online guided writing exercise.

    Some basic criteria would be:

    - A range of different entry options (long form, short form)
    - Some of the fields would have to speak to each other/auto-fill based on previous answers
    - Users would be able to access it again through a login (I'm guessing this can be done on Wix's end)

The problem I'm facing is that every online course software I look at revolves around things being marked/graded, a lot of videos etc. I don't need or want videos at this stage and nothing would be graded. Essentially I'm after a form but with more entry options and versatility than say Google Forms.

Which OTS software can be used to design this kind of online course? Preferably free to test out.

I don't think WIX will allow PHP scripting and an SQL database.
Sorry there is no other option than to stop using a "free" webhost and pay for a shared webhost.
But then you'll have to design and create all of your own web pages and PHP scripting.
